Things are looking on the UP and UP for my Cardio/weightloss training.
The building I live in did a tune-up on the treadmill I've been using AND they Repaired and serviced the Elliptical trainer I was using. It doesn't even squeek anymore. WOOT !
Tonight I did 1 hr on the treadmill and also some lifting exercises.
Rope climbing style pulldowns on the lat pulldown machine.

Ok, So I REALLY miss rope climbing as I feel it helped a LOT with my Armwrestling.
TIME TO GET CREATIVE. I hooked a rope type handle to the top hook and a lat pulldown style machine and did 1 arm at a time of these. It uses very much the same muscles as climbing rope but allowed me to have my hands more infront of my face instead of higher than my head like I do when climbing rope because I'm simply not strong enough to have my hands were I want due to the wight I'm trying to climb with.
GREAT EXERCISE........I must say.
It works your hands and all the other muscles you use when climbing rope except less abs of course because I am seated when I do them.
