Yes Guy I really do believe it, not at this point but if there is successful change than yes. If Canada starts something new and it works it wouldn't surprise me in the least that other organisations would follow. For EG: The possibility of getting into the Olympics can't happen with the number of classes that WAF currently has. If the number of classes are reduced like Canada is suggesting, and this change may possibly lead us one step closer to the Olympics than yes definatly. WAF will take a closer look.

Sorry Ryan I did answer it best I could: I don't know the answer to your question about how others will vote. If you really want an answer I suggest you either call them or finalise the polls and put it to a vote. That way you will see how they voted or didn't vote.

And the numerous weight classes is NOT what is keeping arm wrestling out of the Olympics. Our inability to universalize and the fact that the Olympics have zero interest in adding a shirt tail to Greco roman wrestling are leading that list. Nice attempt at misdirection though.

Do I have to call them? Shouldn't they be paying attention?
Better yet, shouldn't the VP get back to us with some comments?

^^^^^ I can only click like once!!! d**n!!! Call them? ? For frigs sake this is an open forum discussion! Phone calls lead to no one else in on the discussion. Tell them to get the lead out and get involved in there constiuents wishes. God I cant believe the audacity! Pay attention and answer questions. Not alot to ask when you run on a "give armwrestling back to the armwrestlers" docket!!! I have seen enough crap put in print let alone the crap that could be passed to one and switched for another!

Another MAJOR issue with Nationals right now is the May 24th weekend. I will never be able to attend as long as its on this weekend. My busiest time of the year for work. Many have said to me it is a travel/family/friend weekend that will not be traded for armwrestling. Some thought should have gone into this before picking it for Nats.
Just a thought on why numbers are down. I noticed at the Worlds this year many countries complaining about Labour day for worlds week as kids going back to school was a HUGE pain for attending a week long worlds. It was recommended it get switched back to how it was.
This sucks as I was hoping to work through my ref clinics and eventually try for my Masters. Along those lines, why dont we get something to sew on our ref shirts to distinguish what level we currently are? Would be nice. I will pay for mine if thats the issue?

I for one would love to hear from not only the Canadian Executive but also the Ontario Executive about what is planned moving forth into 2014. Too much banter and not near enuff direction. I know of 2 teams in Ontario that have collapsed and about 5 teams that have pretty well turned their back to the O.A.A. in the past 4 months. When is it time to step up to the plate here and take charge/responsibilty for what is going on in the sport your supposed to be governing? I dont want to point fingers here but perhaps its best if the Ontario executive and the Canadian executive were two different entities??? I think there is way to much going on that needs to be resolved and quickly.
