Just thinking how nice it would be to have forearms like these for armwrestling. Yes, they are real pictures, not photoshoped. They are some bodybuilders.

Freaky... ever met Greg Boyes? Huge forearms... although not nearly as vascular as these pics.

Nope, never met him. Where is he from? I've seen some shots of Brzenks arms that look pretty impressive too.

Greg is from Ontario.... you should be able to find pics on the CAWF or Pinarm sites.

That's just not right!!!!! He looks more like a body builder than an arm wrestler.

Meh... remember power isn't represented in the size or vascularity of the muscle. I find it quite ugly. I fail to understand what attracts people to that (or why armwrestlers would wish to own such arms for armwrestling). Those arms would probably get so pumped as to be practically useless for anything beyond a pose for a photo shoot.

I would agree with you to some extent on your post John. But you have to admit there is a little intimidation factor when someone pulls up to the table with an impressive set of guns.Alot of it has to do with tendon strength but I have found that what works best for me is to really work on the cardio end of my training right before bigger tourneys. This usually involves pedalling my custom rejigged exercise bike with my hands until the veins are popping and I can't move my arms.I have found that this gives an old fart like me the stamina to hang in there with you young pups in long tough matches.

John's post reminded me of how some of the Ontario guys would keep reminding Greg not to flex his forearms for everyone who asked as it actually fatigued him for the tournament he was about to compete in.
