Combine running fouls with just a "GO" command and you have a winning combination. Agree

Instead of just "GO" I really liked the "DON"T MOVE, GO". It got voted down at WAF, yet all the referees I talk to from different countries preferred it. They said that the competitors liked it better also. Funny how that never made it through.
There's nothing stopping people from trying tournaments with different rule sets.

Yes Joey, we've done it at some small events in the Ottawa area. We also try to do our practices like this as well (just to get used to it). As a ref it does take some getting used to because you're so used to calling a "Stop" as soon as you see a foul happen. It's an adjustment but of course can be done. I like it. It's not a huge change but it's noticeable. I used to do this at all my events....hundreds of events and stopped. Why? Because it was hurting the pullers........how. When they went to a WAF National or Worlds, they couldn't keep their elbow down and just fouled out. So we, USAA , changed to WAF rules. Be careful on the rule changes that they don't in the end hurt the pullers more than helping them JMO LH

With Joey and Jeff's match Joey would've been given a foul and the match re-started because the pin came with an advantage gained. Way back at the beginning of this thread someone asked how you could use running fouls to your advantage and what I used to do was if someone had a really hard hit I would jump my elbow up and away and change my grip all in one motion. It was subtle but it was enough to work most of the time. With running fouls it is up to the ref to discern if an advantage is gained with the foul and wether or not to stop the match.
