I have developed a program for excel 2007 to run double elimination tournaments. Download it and try it out. It is fully automated and simple to use. It is setup to run up to 20 classes with up to 16 pullers in each class. Please report any possible improvements that could be made. I will gladly modify it to suit any of your needs. old version: uploadingit.com/file/xlefcmzii50xtcaa/DBLMNv31.xlsmEdit: Visit the pullers.2fear.com website to learn more or download the new version of this program. Very cool. I'm a big excel nerd, so I'll take a look and provide some feedback.

uploadingit.com/file/xlefcmzii50xtcaa/DBLMNv31.xlsmVersion two is ready to share. It requires Microsoft Excel 2007 or later. I've added a lot of extra features. Changes were made to simplify the brackets and logic was added to avoid repeated match ups. The program, used with a projector, will keep our audience informed of upcoming matches and the progress of each bracket. This program greatly simplifies the task of running a tournament and allows the final standings and a log of all the matches to be easily published. Please give it a try and provide suggestions for improvements

I found a glitch in this. I ran 7 people in the 154 right light, I chose the winners randomly. first 5 rounds went perfect, in round 6, two people got a bye, one of which was on the A side and one on the B side. into round 7, the person on the B side won the tourney without facing the person on the A who just got the bye. I saved the file results if your looking for them for clarification.

uploadingit.com/file/xlefcmzii50xtcaa/DBLMNv31.xlsmVersion 3.1 (October 26th) - Graphical User Interface Created - Up to 10 R and L handed classes populated from a database of pullers with a click of the mouse - Single or double elimination - Seeded randomly or by weight - Logic to evenly distribute byes and avoid repeated match ups when possible - Undo button to correct mistakes - Classes run through automatically or are manually selected So much easier to use than version 2. Along with a laptop, Microsoft Excel and a DLP/LCD projector, this is the perfect tool to organize a tournament; please check it out.
