Hi Andrew, how do you undo an incorrectly picked winner.

First off - great job - this is shaping up to be THE armwrestling tournament program to use! Couple of questions: 1) Does this work OK using two monitors - one for each table if using two tables? 2) There is a ~15 sec wait in between matches due to the program working, and often I don't know who's up next, because brackets may be switching...can this time be shortened somehow, or at least have a view of who's on deck? 3) I'd prefer an undo for as many as you want, instead of the single undo. Anyways, not trying to be a jerk, just wanted to let you know how I think it could be perfect. I need a full-proof program to feel comfortable with it for a tournament..and I believe yours is going to be that - you've incorporated so much awesome armwrestling specific details...Thanks again!

The 'undo last result' button will erase only a single match result from the last match that occurred. There is a result log that can be manually edited (delete the entire rows of incorrect data). If there are several errors, the data from the entire round can be deleted. The program will reload the matches from that round (the next time it checks for matches) and the correct winners can then be selected. {if seeding is set to random reloading the entire round may alter matchups) Instead of erasing all the data and reloading, it could be manually altered by switching each of the L's and W's on the two rows of data that represents each match result.
The processing time between matches is a definite issue with slower computers.
If the next scheduled match is in the same class it will appear in the on-deck box on the screen where the winner is selected. When running the last match in a round the winner needs to be selected before the next rounds matches are computed. So the wait can't be avoided in that case. I will attempt to add a feature that shows the names of the on deck pullers clearly (when they are known) during that wait between matches when the computer is processing.
Ten classes can be run within a single spreadsheet; multiple spreadsheets can run at the same time; one on each screen should be possible; if two tables are being used to run two different classes using two spreadsheets makes sense, running them on a two different computers may be faster.
The new interface makes it a lot easier to navigate between functions during the match.
The latest feature I've added is a screen that shows the faces of all the pullers in a class - that fades into only the faces of those yet to be eliminated.

This makes me fear trying this out in a fast paced environment at this time...easier undo would be important to me.
This wait is not a problem to me, as long as I can see the next match on deck. This would include having a view of next match even if it's from a different class, as 15 second delays between calling matches would add up quick to bog down the timeline.
OK, that makes sense to me; each table gets it's own spreadsheet.
Nice features! This thing is getting to be quite professional. I will also say that I love the automated nature of this program Andrew; it is a relief to me to just have the two names on the screen at the table, click on what happens very easily and intuitively, and read what is there (ie, who's up, what has transpired, who's on deck)...this is all terrific. The real-time posts are an excellent idea as well...I really want to use this, but the top two issues I wrote will prevent me from doing so yet I think. Also I love the photos and display attributes for projectors too.
Thanks!

One more thing: For finals - it'd be handy to see who has one loss on VS page, so that you can commentate accordingly. And when a person wins the final match, a notification that pops up saying "CHAMPION!" so that the announcer can relay that to the crowd as well.

I will build a 'swap_winners' function that displays all the match results from the current round and allows the user to rerun the selected match or perhaps simply swap the winner/loser in the data log. Update: When the computer is processing the winner of a match, a list of upcoming matches is displayed during the lagtime. I have also streamlined some functions to speed up the processing. The program has been modified to easily allow for a correction when the user accidentally selects the wrong puller as the winner. Previously the undo button only worked for the last match to take place. Now the process allows for the results of any match to be undone. In elimination mode a red button now appears next to each recent match on the bracket sheet. Double clicking the button will undo that match. Results from the latest rounds must be undone before matches from earlier rounds can be undone. In round robin mode, the two rows that represent the incorrect match data in the result log must be selected. Pressing 'Control+R' will then undo the incorrect result and the match will be scheduled to take place again. uploadingit.com/file/dty73fbe3ufn52fu/November8thTP4XLpublish.xlsm

The program has been rewritten to run faster. A feature has been added to a print certificate for each puller. A certificate can be printed that displays the brackets and the match history of each puller in that tournament (fouls, slips, pins). A user manual has been created and is available form within the program or at pullers.2fear.comDownload the software at pullers.2fear.comVideo
