I have a question. I'm going to start taking protein powder- I bought some Muscletech "Nitrotech" at the Arnold's, and I was given a free bottle of naNOx9 with my purchase. It's a nitric oxide supplement, supposed to give you a great pump by increasing plasma flow in you bloodstream. I assume that this should be taken before a workout, but the directions say to take it twice a day. The results are supposed to be in nine seconds, so why take it later in the day, when I'm doing nothing? Are they trying to get more money out of us or is it beneficial to take two doses?

Do not take that NO stuff any where near a competition Jeff. You do not want a pump while pulling.

Maybe not, eh John? Does that stuff really work though, do you think?

I have tried a NO supplement quite a few years ago and it didn't work for me. Supplements have changed since then and I'm sure the stuff probably does work, I dont really know. I do know however that you would NOT want a pump during a competition. Its worth trying Jeff to see how you like it, just get off it in time to compete. As much as I'd like to pin you... I would hate it to be because your supplements had you at a disadvantage.

NO2 products bloat up my arms WAY to much and I lose a lot of my mobility at the table and it really effects me in a bad way in matches. Especially at practices I lose a lot of mobility on NO2 products as my arms are just way to full of blood and water. YOWZA!!!
I found the products great for bodybuilding and any weight training I would do for armwrestling but very bad for actual pulling whether in be in practices or tournaments.
If you have the free sample then I would use it only for the weight training I would do for Armwrestling but not for the Armwrestling itself.
Just my opinion.

This could be very dangerous... if Jeff Penney starts taking supplementation seriously anyone within 30 pounds of him is in deep nuts!
Maybe we should just all tell him to eat as much cookies, ice cream, deep fried battered cod and Guinness beer as he can. He may fall for it... and put on enough weight to keep him outta the 198's.

Guinness lol it sounds to me like they want you to take it twice a day because they want you to use ALOT more then you accually have to just MO..
