I hear ya John I have cut back ALOT on the cardio for the past 2 weeks in hopes of giving my arms a better chance to recover. 1 week I didn't do any at all wich was kinda nice.
I won't quit practicing though as practices are way too valuable to me at this point.
Are you going to hit up that Montana tournament John?
Love the website btw. Great job. There needs to be more Armwrestling sites out there IMO.

Sadly no.. I wont be hitting up any tournaments until I get my elbow healed up. Its still bugging me and I think it might be getting a bit worse. I will be getting layed off soon (for the winter season) so I will be free to get all the rehab I need.
There are videos being up-loaded right now and should all be up by the end of the day. Check back if you want to take a look at the eastern ontario championships.

Well whatever you are doing Curtis it's obviously working! Congrats on your first place finish!!
Are you still planning on dropping down to 198 even with the success you have had at your current weight class? Nothing has been posted on this thread in a while and I was just wondering what your weight is at now and what your plans are now that you have drank from the champions cup.

Hey, Thanks for the interest John. Always good to hear from you. I still plan on dropping weight but I have forced myself to slow down a bit. I've cut my cardio back to 3 times a week and am now supplementing with a very clean (not junk added) protein powder. At our last practice (about a week before the Montana tournament) I felt extreamly weak and had no power. I was very conerned because I knew Montana was comming up. Starting 4 days before the montana tournament I purchased Some VERY good protein powder and Protein Loaded (3 shakes a day) ontop of my regular Fish and rice meals. Luckily for me I got much of my strength back intime for the tournament and faired well. It did help that Kade and Tyrrell didn't enter the Amateur class wich they both almost did. I was surprised that even with the protein loading for 4 days I still stayed at a very steady 220 Lbs. I'm going to continue to fight off the fat I do have on my body and see what Weight it leaves me at and go from there. I would like to get aways from Tyrrell and Kade if I can but if I can't then I will just keep doing what I'm doing wich is eating Very healthy and training by butt off.

watch your protein shakes they are not always the way. Make sure you are have the right ones to meet your goal. Are U not looking to have lean muscle mass . (L- 's are someing thing you may want to look in too. L-Lysine to max lean mass, L-Tyrosine help to manage physical stress and maintain lean muscle mass, L-Arginine is for a cardiovascular pump this can help with weight loss but also max preferments of some supplements by pumping them though the blood stream. The line of B vitamins especially b1 helps to break down bad carbs and assist with . Royal jell is great for stress and energy. royal is what is feed to the queen bee so it is a step up from pollen.( also helps with anti aging) peppermint aswell good digestion, stress and energy

I actually do buy ROYAL JELLY at Superstore in Saskatoon. WAY cheaper than buying it a healthfood stores when sometimes they want as much as $1.00 a vial. At superstore they have it for $7.00 you get 30 vials. Most people don't like the tast of the stuff, but I like it. I am supplementing with a very good whey proteing powder that has enzimes some vitamins added with no junky fillers like flower and such. Incase anybody is interested. I'm currently weighing in at a consistant 217 Lbs. Not bad from the 247 I started out at.
