Along with the gym work for posting/toprolling I've been working that strength on the table.
I'm working both (slow and hitting) up into Devon's hand. I'm trying to keep my pressure everywhere and not just high off of the top knuckle.
-I'm keeping pressure out on his fingers through the back of my hand
- pressure off of my wrist (upwards and out) on his lower fingers
- and through the top knuckle as well as if to peel through the top
Separately and ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Its hard to get used to at first.
I'm trying to keep my backpressure training complete and not just in one area. This will work well for being well rounded and for taking the total hand... not to mention giving you lots of options. The ability to adjust quickly is something I'm working on as well.
I've been doing some (hammer position) static work with my brach rack as well as rotational work.
Everything is really starting to come together as of late. I have been training a bit less in the gym actually but feel very healthy and strong.
