I am curious how many people incorporate some form of cardio as part of their training. I try and do 30 min sessions on my off days... or at least look for a good excuse not to.

Since I started my diet I have been doing cardio 5 days a week. I do anywhere from 45 mintues to 1.5 hrs a day.

That is a lot of cardio Curtis... I assume you are trying to get stronger at the same time?

That is a lot of cardio Curtis... I assume you are trying to get stronger at the same time? With the amount of weight I am trying to loose I already know that I cannot get stronger at the same time. I'm struggling to maintain strength while loosing lots of fat.

jeezus christ.
that is a ton of weight to lose man. you will find a huge difference in strength i think if you lose weight like that. why do you want to get so low? how tall are you? will you be "small" at that weight?
dont get me wrong.. if you think its a healthy weight for you then go nuts. Cutting weight just for the sake of getting to a weight class (you may have trouble staying at) doesnt make alot of sense to me.
all the best though curtis. i dont mean to sound negative but just make sure you do it right.

I had answered here but Decided to remove my post as I really don't want to hi-jack Ryans thread more than I already have...
Anybody else do cardio as part of their training routine?

ok curtis.
sorry for getting off track Ryan.
I try to do cardio on a weekly basis... usually 20-30 minutes treadmill. I find that if I run too much that shin splints just smoke me and I'd have to lay off for a couple of weeks.
