What started out as challenge between 4 - 6 guys has been left with only two guys to go at it. Having 4 - 6 guys in the 154 super match up would have had some interesting out comes and some good money for the winner.
I talked with my friend Simon in Santa Clarita about this match ... and the fact of it only being the two of us.
Truth is ... we meet each other at several events because of the amount of traveling we do.... and we have enjoyed every match against each other.
Another truth is that we have developed a great friendship from this sport and money is a great thing but a bad thing as well .... and friendship comes at a much greater cost ... this being said ... we would rather just meet each other at events ... and pull to see what the outcome will be in the end.
Sorry if this has caused any problems for anyone .... and if you ask us both if we would compete in a supermatch again with 4 or more competitors involved .... you bet!!!
Looking forward to seeing all us 154 pound guys shaking it up in that class.

Vern... you just fully explained why I do not like supermatches. Its too much like gambling. While I love that armwrestlers can make some good money in these types of matches, I hate it that one has to lose so much of his own. I always thought it should be up to promoters to put up the $$$. One could argue that if a sponsor put it up then its no loss... but I would rather take that sponsor money and use it to travel to a lot of events with good competition than potentially lose it all at one event against one guy. Just my HUMBLE opinion.
