Congratulations to the new and upgraded referees who were certified at the Referee Clinic held after the MAWA provincials. There were 8 in total, 2 level two, 5 level one and one spotter designation. Ryan Espey, Ward Drake, Brian Kehler, Perry Rzesnoski, Mike Boychuk, Chelsea Horrochs, Scott Stillwell and Terry Palaschak. It was a lot of fun and great to see the new folks. Does anyone else know what a slip out, in neutral position no less, entail?

I believe in Cadillac, Saskatchewan it is referred to as a "coincidental slip" and apparently there is an unlimited number of these allowed. The straps are just ornamental out there.

Hey, we stand by our call. Rick Pinkney orchestrated the whole thing and we stand by him. #20 on the DVD test does not cross over center. You guys just have to square up to the TV (lol)

In the future I think the instructors for the clinic should try and be a little more sober than what you yahoos were. As far as my slightly discretionary call I made that you guys are refering to it was "Coincidental slipout in the neutral position -Restart no fouls given" and for your info I thought I was doing pretty good considering I was running a fever, dehydrated and didn't get any sleep so that I was halucinating so bad that I thought that I was being tested by 5 of the finest referees out there.(YA JERKS!!) On a final note I will use the words of our fearless, quite often drunk, senior citizen, ruler of the universe el presidente
"THERE ARE DIFFERENT DEGREES OF CORRECTNESS SO I AM NEVER WRONG!!!"

#20 is way over the line! It's funny that those who were looking at the anwsers key are the only ones that disagree. LOL

Actually... Kayne was helping run the clinic and he thought the shoulder was over center also.
Rick Pinkney... can you review this and let us know what you think. Scene 20 of the level 1 & 2 video test.
