When was the last time Matt pulled a competition? Someone asked me how he is ranked so high when he hasn't pulled in 2 years. I have no idea if this is true or not, I was asked the question so I thought I'd throw it out there.

He pulled Mayhem in the Mall, less than a year ago.

That was a close one and it became apparent that they had been correctly ranked before this event. I was pretty concerned for Steph out the gate as Matt went to work first 2 matches...then Steph turned the tide to pull out the dramatic come-from-behind victory; it was very cool to see. No match was a gimme either. Good luck Geoff Hale...he'll need it against either of these guys.

I don't think that Geoff has the left to deal with either of these two. Obviously these guys are all very good (and I'll give some props to Dan B. and Ethan F), but I think that the size and hand strength of Matt and especially Steph is going to be tough to deal with. There is an argument that the top spot should go to a Canadian, e.g. split them up in the rankings. I'll also give Steph an extra edge for starting to train for armwrestling (by armwrestling) in earnest in 2014.

I'd like to see this get sorted out, and it deserves a supermatch to accomplish this (Geoff vs Steph). Anyone know what organization is Geoff Hale armwrestling for these days?
