Revisit all CAWF weight classes after World’s 2014
Ryan Espey to create a list, including expenses for hosting Nationals. He will add all updated changes and it will be made available for interested parties.
Provincial Presidents compile a list of referees including levels to give to Patrick Callan, CAWF Head referee
Allan Heinrick`s owes CAWF money from last year at World`s in Brazil. This needs to be researched and discussed with Allan

Motion from Patrick Callan to not use the new elbow foul rules, because of too many inconsistencies and discrepancies. Gord Squire seconds the motion
Be it resolved that CAWF does not pass the new elbow foul rules. CAWF will follow the previous rules

Resolved: Motion carried
Motion from Rick Pinkney to use bracket system for draw sheets. Gord Squire seconds the motion.
Be it resolved that CAWF change the drawsheets using a bracket system. Use 2 pools if there are more than 16 competitors in a class.

Motion from Gord Squire that we add back the classes that were eliminated from 2014 CAWF Nationals. Lori Pow seconds the motion.
Be it resolved that CAWF re add back the 70 Kg Men’s Master’s left and right arm classes and all 3 classes for the Grand Master’s right and left arms.

Rick Pinkney made a motion to compensate will Sarty and Glenn McDonald for their jackets.
Gord Squire seconds the motion.
Be it resolved that CAWF will compensate Will Sarty and Glenn McDonald based on the value of a new jacket.

Motion from Gord Squire to allow arm wrestlers to enter multiple classes. Ryan Espey seconds the motion.
Be it resolved that the CAWF allow competitors to enter multiple weight classes (heavier) for which they qualify effective 2015.

Motion from Rick Pinkney to eliminate Arm Wrestler of the Year from the CAWF. Provinces can still do their own awards. There will be no more points. Gord Squire seconds the motion.
Be it resolved that the CAWF eliminate arm wrestler of the year award.

Motion from Rick Pinkney to move 2016 CAWF Nationals to July long weekend. Gord Squire seconds the motion.
Be it resolved that in 2016, CAWF Nationals be held July long weekend. If the long weekend falls on a Wed, Thurs. or Friday it will be the following weekend. If the long weekend falls on a Monday or Tuesday, it will be the preceding weekend.
Vote: 10 in favor, 3 opposed, 1 abstain

Motion from Rick Pinkney that CAWF is not responsible for the financial cost to host Nationals. Joey Costello seconds the motion.
Be it resolved that the host Province or territory be responsible for the cost incurred to host Nationals.

Motion from Rick Pinkney to allow Board of Director`s to weigh in 2 hrs. prior to the AGM. Dave Hicks seconds the motion.
Be it resolved that CAWF Board of Director`s will have the opportunity to weigh in 2 hours prior to the AGM.

Motion from Rick Pinkney to allow for a discount in entry fees when an arm wrestler enters multiple classes. Ryan Espey seconds the motion.
Be it resolved that CAWF allow a discounted entry fee to any arm wrestler who chooses to enter multiple weight classes. It will be left to the discretion of the host Province to decide

Be it resolved that at the 2015 CAWF Nationals, CAWF will entertain bids for the 2017 National host.

Proposing a clear definition of qualifications for World’s be updated on the website and explain the process to members.
July 1st deadline for competitors attending World’s until the CAWF Nationals is moved to July long weekend.
Proposing a mandatory meeting and picture at World’s 2014. There is sponsorship for team shirts for competitors. If they do not show up for the meeting and picture, the competitor will not be reimbursed for their team Canada shirt.
Registration for World’s:
The 1st and 2nd place names will be on the CAWF message board for 2 weeks to register starting the Monday after Nationals.
Thereafter, every 3 days the next place finishers will be listed until the spots are filled.
$50 deposit
Motion from Joey Costello to supply jackets for uniforms from CAWF. Mandatory black sport pants that are the responsibility of the competitor, and the contract for shirts can be bid on. Can only have one sponsor per team shirt. Rick Pinkney seconds the motion.
Be it resolved the CAWF will have jackets available for purchase for $115 to competitors. Mandatory plain black sport pants are expected to be provided by the competitors and worn during competition and team shirts will be provided for purchase from the winning bidder that year.
