Cash is king! Mike Gould offers money, no trophies involved in the pro's and it's the most successful tourney in Canada. The first time I went to nats there were 4 in my class, 1 of them being my team mate. Last year, the second time, there were 6 in the 54's, I'm pretty sure I had about 4 matches each arm and took second. Two bad experiences is enough for me. If you want to see how do against the elite in Canada the MGC is the way to go.

I'm not giving up on nationals - I think this will be very interesting this year, and will improve in the future, as long as people rally behind it. We have some plans in Alberta in the works to help bolster nationals attendance; it's going to be good again I'd bet. Also Brad, you're discounting triple elimination this year(way more fun) now..even with 6 people could be great, especially if most are close to you ability.
We're sending a pretty kick butt team this year, but next year will be even stronger!
