With Provincials next Sat , for fun and to add a little team competitiveness start thinking about making up a team for the 9th Annual Team Event: Register your team of 5 (free) for a chance for team trophies . There must be at least 1 female per team. Points awarded based on individual placing of best arm left or right , points are award (5 for 1st) (4 for 2nd) (3 for 3rd) ( 2 for 4th) and ( 1 for 5th) for a max total of 25 points . Tie breaker will be determined by the tied teams adding the next best arm until a winning team is determined. All details are in the tournaments section .

Thanks Jeff , as you know a lot of work and stress to put a provincials on. Other than my pulling sucked , i was happy on how the day went . We also have video master Andrew Grant shooting some awesome video. Hey Jeff Kudos goes to your Provincials too , a few bold changes looked positive.

Thanks Darrell, hey I know about the stress and sucking at armwrestling when you are putting on the event - I have yet to do well at my own events, and this last one was no exception - I was probably as crappy as I was back in 2007 - ugh! You guys are doing a bang-up job in Manitoba, we are behind you in a few areas for sure. Andrew is the man with video, your'e lucky to have him! These "bold" changes of ours really pissed off a lot of people (and also made some happy, and many didn't care), but overall their effect was very subtle at the first implementation at provincials. And to me yeah it was worth it (I think!), we have video that will be edited next week of our event that people can watch and see for themselves how the new rules played out - my guess is it will be hard to even notice, but I was pleased with them in general.
