Created by Gord Squire with heavy amount of input from myself - kind of a joint venture with Gord doing the bulk of the work; we hashed out much of the changes over the phone as a team.

Good work guys revamping rules takes a lot of work. But maybe i am reading the qualification rules is that in any class only the top 3 qualify to go to Nationals ? so if Jeff came in 4 th in that class and the other 3 are going to Nationals ,Jeff can't compete in Nationals??

Thanks, and yes that's right, but if any of the top three decline to go, the 4th place goes to third and so on. Also, any tournament volunteers (like me, Gord, Fraser if reffing etc.) automatically qualify to go to nationals. This gives incentive to hit your correct weight class at provincials for your best chance to win, or alternatively incentive to help out with tournament organization. Honestly, prob would not want to go to nationals if 3 guys were ahead of me at provincials anyways, unless I was organizing and competing, and felt that this affected my focus substantially (IMO the volunteers are disavantaged in the competition).
