You could get a hold of Dave McEwen on facebook. The London team are probably the closest active team without crossing the border. I don't believe the Teeswater Thunder/Allmighty are training anymore. Or at least at the moment anyhow. Perhaps some new blood might ignite some fire back into the team. Al Aubin would be your man.
