I am glad to see progress, but I believe the super heavies (242lb+) should remain. Condense everything else. I can for see a lot of guys that compete in the 242 class (naturally or cut weight) will push their health further just to stay out of pulling against the likes of earl, mike Gould, etc when it comes to nationals. Especially if they aspire to attend worlds...
Personally I have no qualms pulling the big boys, so I'm not being biased.
I just am curious how you would determine who is eligible to pull in what class when one attempts to qualify for worlds. Using myself as an example, if I weigh in around 240lbs (which I usually do), and come 8th in a stacked nationals 205kg+ (231lb+) class, am I still eligible to qualify for worlds?

It would go by placing. If we end up with triple elimination, then the top placing people that want to go to Worlds. You would have to signify before hand if you plan on attending Worlds and what class you would compete in.
