you would have to seed by weight, If I wanted to place to get a spot on team Canada, and had a bad draw (as in Pulling the heavier pullers , and the pullers I would usually pull against placed ahead of me because they didn't pull the heavier pullers.)Then you wouldn't be placing the best puller in that class for team Canada.

yeah thats what i thought too. very simlar. great tournament by the way. I will be coming next year for sure. just have to let my right thumb heal. tadas cracked the bone at the base of it. ouch. that guys arm is like a peice of cold steel.

OMG, that sucks, broke my thumb a few year back at the knuckle (hockey puck hit from slap-shot) and it was no picnic..I needed emergency surgery to straighten it. Good luck healing it up, and I'll look forward to armwrestling you again! Already thinking about some new tricks to surprise you with. Yeah you lucked out with that draw...Tadas is incredible very torquey, hard to turn or move his fingers - but Del can somehow!
