it will take 30 sec for you to get from the back of the bull pen! If the pen is full and/or a sloppy built bull pen it will cause mayhem for the wrestlers. take and put 5 classes in 1 small area, better have some big monitors for them to see!

I like the straps so I'm all for strapping people up. But to deny a person the win because someone bailed out of the grip inches from the pad isn't right. However, many times this slip isn't called correctly. The referee will blame the person in the losing position when the slip is the fault of both competitors. That makes sense Rick, that's kind of the frustrating part, when the person "pinning" isn't holding on either, of course there is a slip, and the losing position guy gets blamed almost every time. I think you have a logical way of using this rule that seems fair.

Jeff,
I don't agree with changing rules to make up for bad refereeing. We need to educate referees more on how the call is to be made correctly.

Perhaps i misunderstood Rick, but i thought these rules were now set across the board??? It makes sense at the World level,(30 sec rule to the table due to sheer volume of competitors) but at all levels, it can make the difference between a title or second place...
In terms of set up, I'm not sure i agree with voluntary straps.... makes me wonder if there are too many control factors in a match that could go "either way". I like the mystery ... I can't even believe that there was one ref for the finals at the worlds.... as a competitor i'd be so afraid of getting hurt, because of the delay in what two refs could have seen as opposed to one and 3 others staring at a monitor. Seems risky to me... let the 2 refs do their job and watch later if there is a need to protest....

You're right Chantel that's why we'll stay with the 60 second rule. If we had the same system as Worlds where you can see the next 5 matches then it would be different. As for the other rules you don't have to agree. Both competitors must agree ahead of time if they want straps and/or ref grip. The 30sec to ref grip cuts down on a lot of the BS at the table.

I could use this with Fraser. Also, Kayne prob would like to use this with Fraser as well I'd bet! I would also like to use straps automatically with Tibok if he'd want...we usually slip, although he got me out of the straps at MIM.
