Roll Call.
Don't be shy.
I'll admit, I'm a bit jealous of Allen Ford. Well, no... wait a second. Not of him as a person but of his ability on the armwrestling table. He's kind of a weenie (sorry Al).
I hope I don't get banned for calling Al a weenie.

Should of seen the little Weenie 20 years ago when I first met him. 165 If I remember correctly. Allen deserves a lot of respect for what he has accomplished. Hes had ups and downs like most but is resilient and has rejuvenated his armwrestling career. Usually people will come or chase a guy like Allen just to know where they stand. I don't think Allen needs to prove anything to anyone. Everyone knows where he will be pulling. Come get him. No disrespect intended to anyone in regards to the above.

Well Allen should be rightly chasing Del. Me and most other <200lbers in Alberta should be chasing Allen. And hell yeah I'm jealous of Allen's armwrestling and athletic abilities.

Al is National Champ of 3 weight classes now
187 (twice) 198 220 - Currently
220 Ontario Provincial Champion - Currently Mike Gould Classic Champion - Currently Arm Melter Canadian Professional Champion - Currently
With the exception of Sylvain Perron Al has slaughtered all in his path.
I don't think that warrants Allen chasing Del, lets be real here. What would motivate someone with this record to chase Del? What would a reigning 220 Champ get from beating a former 187 Champ? I'm sure he's got his sights set higher.
I know Del is very good but realistically Al should not go head hunting this guy just because some think Del's better. Al should be seeking out high profile matches - generally USA and European opponents offer much more recognition. Beating someone who rarely travels out of his province and who is not very well known (worldwide) is not as big of a payoff as beating someone from other countries.

That's the flavour of this forum (it's all in the perspective!). I sure hope this supermatch can be made, as I would find it very entertaining, and personally think it is the most exciting matchup in Canada right now.

Sure, I'd love to see Allen in those match-ups too USA, Europe, he's a talent. There are also a few great match-ups in Canada that I want to see 1) Del at 90kg or 85kg 2) Kade at 90kg 3) Mark MacPhail all at 90kg probably in that order. Del's is the most interesting to me because of the major gap in our opinions Eastern - Western Canada on that match-up. Side note: I remember seeing an online betting site, can't remember the name - where you could set up bets for your slow-pitch games etc. - that would be great for this kind of match...maybe could make the puller's some dough I'll look into it. Could be illegal in Canada for all I know.
