Sounds like a top pound-for-pound armwrestlers list...was thinking of doing one of those too. Funny, your list works OK even without making weights equal! My list assumes the puller's approximate current weights.

If I was to create a top 25 overall list and a top 25 poud-for-pound list, they would look very different. But Devon and George would likely top both.
Has Ryan's left been tested by the other top superheavyweights since his weight loss (e.g. Mike, Earl)? If not, I think it's a big assumption that he hasn't lost any strength from when he was much heavier. I'm not saying he's necessarily lost a lot of strength, but I'm sure he's lost some.

For the record (again), I'd wager large money on myself against George. However I cannot be placed as high because he can beat many that I cannot.
Devon easily beats him btw, it's very easy for him. George is very good, but he's not giving Devon problems.
I like this topic. If I get the motivation I'll throw in my opinion too.

I'd love to see that John, and I suspect many others as well. I actually wanted a shot at George next year, thinking I was going to become a lean 176 again... but my body seems to like being a fat 198 lber!

What can I say Jeff... nerves and some strong guys. One of the toughest classes of the day. No bullnuts, no excuses. I will be back on top soon.
Lefty... the comfort level was there more.

For me, it's easier to group guys so where I think they're close I'll do that. In my groupings I think any one of the guys could beat the others but there is no clear favorite.
Devon Sylvain Mike Earl Ryan E / Rick H. Matt Mask / Al Ford Tyrrell/Milne/Kadlec/Joe Gould/C. Bernard/Tamblyn/Roussin/Slater/Ross Tom Smith/McPhail/Bayers/Del/Frasier/Dubreuil/Anthony/Nicola
I probably forgot some but not on purpose. This isn't rock solid, I'm just bored and my opinion doesn't really matter so don't get upset kids. I think it's possible for someone to beat someone else in a higher grouping but not likely two levels up. Again, JMO.
p.s. I left George out because he's just one crazy bastard. He's probably number 2-3 but he will most likely take losses to guys lower on that list who know how to pull him. This makes him very hard to rank.

I've never lost to Matt either hand. We last pulled in 2010 I believe. On the other hand, he placed higher than me right handed at 2010 Worlds. I've never beat Espey, not even close. You figure it out. Jef, it wasn't a super match in Red Deer, just a tourney. I'm guessing that was in '08 or '09 though. There was keys for a cash box and Espey took the majority of it. 2010 Nationals right handed I beat Matt on a go I would say he missed and then he conceded the the final to me due to a tweak.
A top 25 list is tough. I wouldn't put myself in the same level of Mike Gould or Mr. Earl Wilson at first thought, but Ryan has wins on them and Matt has wins on Ryan. I also beat Len Houghten once upon a time. Crazy George throws a wrench in things. I know lots of guys who thought they had plan against him and then didn't. I'll try.
Right Hand (assuming everyone is healthy and trained) 1 Devon Larratt 2 Crazy George 3 Earl Wilson 4 Sylvain Perron 5 Mike Gould 6 Matt Mask 7 Ryan Espey 8 Rick H. 9 Tyrrell W. 10 Ian C. 11 Dan Kadlec 12 Kade Revelstoke 13 John Milne 14 Allen Ford 15 Eric Roussin 16 Mark Mcphail 17 Del Murdyk 18 Derek Penner 19 Shawn Ross 20 Antoine Dubriel 21 Andrew Grant 22 Bjorn T. 23 Anthony Dal Antonio 24 Perry R. 25 Ralphie B.
I'm sure I forget a few.

Yep, forgot a bunch. Joe Gould, Tamblyn, Conrad, Penny. As far as Ryan's spot goes, I stand by it. He's bad news, along with Mask. Matt can be violent at the table. I may have ranked myself a tad high in retrospect. Kade gave me the full meal deal at 2012 Nationals. Dan Kadlec played with my right after pulling, and I have no clue about The Grippler, but I'd beat John and Allen easy. Congratulations to all the 2013 National Champions. Well done. On any given Sunday.

If everyone went to the MGC next year you could get a new list. Plus it would make that tourney insane.................
Just sayin.......
