Since there seems to be a lot of opinions as to who the top armwrestlers are, I thought it would be fun to start a new thread on the subject. If I was to put together a current list of the top 25 overall right hand pullers, I would select from the following individuals:
BC:
Anthony Dall’Antonia Chris Beauchemin
AB:
Del Mudryk Mark Harrison Matt Mask
SK:
Tyrrell Wojcichowsky
MB:
Perry Rzesnoski Ryan Espey
ON:
Allen Ford Brian Tamblyn Conrad Rousselle Devon Larratt Earl Wilson Eric Roussin George Iszakouits Ian Carnegie Janek Kwias Jeff Penney Jeff Slater Joe Gould John Milne Kade Revelstoke Mike Gould Rick Heidebrecht Rob Graham Tom Smith
QC:
Alexandre Paquette Antoine Dubreuil Christian Bernard Denis Dubreuil Sylvain Perron
NS:
Mark MacPhail Ralphie Bayers Shawn Ross
PEI:
Charlie McGeoghegan
NF:
Bjorn Torgersen
Does anyone want to take a stab at putting together their list of the top 25? Feel free to include pullers who may not be on the above list. If you don't want to do a top 25, it would still be fun to see a top 5, top 10, etc. Bonus points to those who explain their reasoning.

I like this because it illuminates the closest challenges for the elite armwrestlers. I still say weight is a factor, but sometimes a lighter guy has a superior strong move(s) to defeat most overall stronger guys (ie. Allen Ford, Matt Mask).
Right Arm: 1) Devon Larratt (ON) 2) George Iszakouits (ON) 3) Sylvain Perron (QE) 4) Matt Mask (AB) 5) Tyrrell Wojcichowsky (SK) 6) Mike Gould (ON) 7) Earl Wilson (ON) 8) Ian Carnegie (ON) 9) John Milne (ON) 10) Dan Kadlec (ON) 11) Ryan Espey (MB) 12) Rick Heidebrecht (ON) 13) Mark Harrison (AB) 14) Sean Kennett (AB) 15) Eric Roussin (ON) 16) Corey Buchta (AB) 17) Del Mudryk (AB) 18) Kade Revelstoke (AB) 19) Allen Ford (ON) 20) Shawn Ross (NS) 21) Bjorn Torgersen (NF) 22) Chris Beauchemin (BC) 23) Rob Graham (ON) 24) Joe Gould (ON) 25) Christian Bernard (QE)
Left Arm: 1) Devon Larratt 2) Sylvain Perron 3) Mike Gould 4) Earl Wilson 5) Ryan Espey 6) Tyrrell Wojcichowsky
*I switched Mike and Earl due to John Milne's supermatch info. Prob missed a couple of guys, and ranked a couple based on inthehook.com ranking if I didn't know them (Christian Bernard, Rob Graham). *July 5, 3013 - moved Allen Ford up on Eric Roussin's input regarding the guys I have limited info on, which drags a few others up as well (who I feel are very close to Allen). *Also added Crazy George...hope you like it!*

I like that you put together the list. It's very hard to do and you'd never get anyone to agree.
Points that stuck out for me:
Crazy George is not listed - nor is Espey Al Ford is WAY too low (imo).
I think I'm too high but thank you, I'll take it.

The last half of my list is very murky. My strongest feeling is that Del, Allen ,and Kade are close....these guys could move up in a clump if I had any reference win to use; anyone know of any?
Espey should probably be on there somewhere too. I think if I had more info for the lat half (guys I don't know well) I 'd fit in Espey easier.
Anyone else want to try a list too? We could do an average at the end like they do for MMA rankings, so it's not biased to one person.

Hi Jeff, I like your predictions and would like to see that happen but I don't think there is any chance that Ty and Matt would beat Earl or Mike.

WOW! Thanks for putting this video together! I assume the pullers are presented in order of rank?

Yes, the rankings are far from perfect, but hopefully it will entice people out to our next major tournament.

Question to anyone who knows the answer: Has Matt beat Tyrrell since 2010? I know Tyrrell beat him at the 2010 Nationals. I realize Matt is bigger and likely stronger right now than he was three years ago, but I'm wondering if his being ranked ahead is because of a) the belief that he would win, b) he has beat Tyrrell recently, or c) he has recent wins over people who have beat Tyrrell recently.

I don't think they have pulled. Tyrrell didn't make the 2012 Mayhem(WEM) or the open 2013 AB provincials. Matt didn't come to the 2013 Fit2Fight in Saskatoon. I don't know if Matt pulled much between Nats2010 and Mayhem2012, he did not attend the Mayhem2011 in which Tyrrell won the 220 and 220+ classes with wins over Mark Harrison. In my Prairie rankings I have Matt over Tyrrell only because his performance at Nationals in a very tough class. Matt took losses to me(fouls), Del and Ryan at the mayhem2012 but looked unstoppable at Nationals and 2013 AB provincials. I still have Ryan ahead of Tyrrell. The last time they arm wrestled was ManSask August 2012. Ryan won. www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5NadturYvU Ryan was a little heavier back then and Tyrrell had won a supermatch with Perry earlier that day. Tyrrell has no other losses that I know of.
