If they could meet at the same weight (maybe 187lbs)- hell yeah. Weight differences ruin great matchups - I learned that with Del vs. AD - Del had about 15lbs weight advantage - had they been the same weight I think AD would have taken it (Sorry Del!).

Of course. I'm not saying Allen is miles ahead of Del. But if I was betting, I would bet on Allen, especially based on his recent performances.
Allen did lose that match to Ralphie at the MGC. I remember seeing the match and Allen fidgetted right before the go. He also lost a similar match to Shea Dickie at last year's Toronto Pro SuperShow. He's heavily reliant on his massive hit, and if he doesn't get it in, he can quickly close. But it's rare that he doesn't get it. At both events, he came right back. He won the MGC, and he had wars with big Rick Heidebrecht at the SuperShow.

Al beat Rick (once) at the Supershow, not just had wars with him.
Neither Ralphie or Brian are with Allen right now. It's not even close, trust me. I see it up front and know what goes on. Al crushes both guys as easily as I said. I don't mean for that to sound disrespectful but its the truth. Watch Ralphie's win on Ford again. Al had his hand open and was still setting up when the "go" was called. A mistake yes but it wouldn't happen again and he proved it later in the tournament.

Did Al beat Rick once at the SuperShow? I couldn't recall. I remember being amazed by what I was witnessing -- especially that he was having good matches with him top roll to top roll. I've had a couple of wins on Rick, but in a hook -- I've never been able to match him up top.
Al was able to surprise Dave Chaffee and tie him up briefly at the MGC. I don't think anyone else could have done that on that day (except maybe Crazy George).

We gotta get Allen Ford vs Del at West Ed mall in October (if this doesn't take place at nationals)! This can be settled, and trust me it ain't gonna be no walk in the park for Allen.
