Was wondering how often you guys train your hands and forearms, and if you train them on seperate days or not? Thanks. I train grip specifically once per week. When you do deadlifts, biceps or back, you are inadvertently training grip. I know grip guys who train grip and forearm many times per week. One day crush, another day block weights, another day wrist roller... it really depends on how much your hands can take and still recover. Think of anyone with a job like mechanic, drywaller or fisherman. They work their hands hard every day and they have incredible grip strength. Your body will adapt to the load over time.

I have the winning formula for myself... elbow flexors get it on Tuesdays... hand / wrist / forearms get it on every second Sunday... the alternating Sunday is armwrestling practice and they get thoroughly killed that day.
If I did not practice (like leading up to Nationals) I train hand / wrist / forearms every Sunday.

I try to train my forearms three times a week for heavy low reps, and my hands get it every second day on my drive to work with rubber bands on the head rest of my truck. I try to change the angles and lenght of pull all the time. Also I use kettle balls off my centre console of my truck for working the wrists. I have found this program to work great for me and it has also been very beneficial for Mr Mask too.
