Has anybody found decent kettle bell handles that don't cost a fortune? I was thinking about adding some kettle bell training into my workouts, but I'm not about to fork over $100+ for what is essentially a very simple training implement. Never mind the cost of real kettle bells....

Thanks Ryan, but I'm looking for plate-loading kettlebell handles, not the actual kettlebells.
Has anybody else tried kettlebell training? What'd you think?

Ahhh... the kettlestack ones. I have one. It is pretty good. I bought it off Ebay. It was the only place I could find one in North America. Of course there might be a North American distributor now.

You will be happy to see when you open your parcel Ryan that essentially what I sent you is a thick handled kettlestacker thingy that weighs probably 10 lbs without weights. Make sure you don't miss the ring that can be inter-changed with the plate pipe. It was loose in the bottom of the box.

Has anybody else tried kettlebell training? What'd you think? The kettlebell fad is in high gear right now.. I have a few of them - and know a few guys who are RKC... The problem I have with some the hardcore kettlebell guys is that they ONLY use kettlebells and are unwilling to do other things.. Much like the harcore Crossfit guys who ONLY do Crossfit.. I think they're great for changing the loading intensities, anaerobic conditioning, coordination and a lot of other great aspects. But you're never going to be able to develop certain strengths with them as effectively.. So I'd say they're good, but in combination with other things.. not the the focus. Set your goal first and work backwards, if they have a place then use them
