Thank you for the advice. I will remember that and give it a try. Teaching muscles new movements is the harder part of the training but eventually determination and willpower gets us there

towel hangs chin-ups. work your hands and your holding power if your looking for variety. finger tip chins or holds are great too.
if ya don't want to lift your body weight during chins and you don't want or have a chin-up machine available. you can use a balance ball and let it rest under your shin and roller. while you do your chins this can take off a bit of weight. I find this allows for a softer glide the the machines.

Hi Mat I must say that I am very proud of myself. From barely being able to do one I actually did 5 pull-ups last night ;D You assistance was vital in me getting this far and I will keep on going until I have to actually add weight. But I know that will still be a while Thanks again for your advice as it really made a difference and I can also feel the difference on the table, especially when I have to block my opponent. It has also made my toproll that little bit stronger as well ;D

Even 5 or 10 pounds in a backpack, to keep your body getting stronger. Good luck!

It has been a while that I have been online here. On a good day I can do 10 pull ups. Currently I am struggling with heart issues. I recently found out I have three leaking heart valves and thus have to take it easy for now.
I hope to get back on the table in the future but for now I am trying to be patient to see where this takes me.

Man that does not sound very good,is it supposed to get better on its own or will you maybe need surgery, either way I will pray for your speedy healing.
