;D I have been armwrestling for approximately one and a half years now but still struggle to accomplish more than 10 standard pull-ups.
Can anyone give me advice on various forms of pull-ups that will increase my strength and build my strength in the right places.
Any and all advice will be appreciated.

Get Stronger.
Add some weight and bang out some heavy doubles and triples for 3 to 4 weeks.
Then you should be able to increase your volume when you return to bodyweight pullups.

For armwrestling they should be done with palms facing each other.

Palms away build up forearms, palms facing builds bi-ceps and like Ryan said palms facing one anorher helps and works both.

PALMS FACING EACH OTHER.... not pronated or supinated... like a hammer grip.

Thanks guys, I can actually get about three done with palms facing each other.
My hubby built a bracket that is fixed to the wall with grips that are about 50mm. This makes it difficult but I know it will build better hand strength.
I can do one pull-up with palms facing me but cannot do any with palms facing away.
But I will keep you posted and let you know how it goes.
Once again thanks for the input and advice. It really does help and motivate me to try even harder.

if you go to a gym i have noticed for myself that a pull up machine works to with just a little bit of resistance it helps you still build muscle and keep up endurance i couldn't do very many pull ups myself alone but at the gym with the machine helping me with even 10 pounds of my body weight i could do twice as many, now pull ups aren't a problem for me, so you basically se it to get used to the muscles working for like a week then your pretty much good to go on your own.
