Pete Milano notified me this morning that Engin was unable to cross customs at the airport in N.Y. due to visa problems. So the supermatch in Conn. between the two will not happen, possibly at another date. They tried to find a replacement for Engin but for Denis it was not about the money he wanted Engin. Just updating everyone, I know alot of Canadians were curious on the outcome.

Too bad....was really curious about this one...(still think Denis would have taken it)... May be they'll set it up for Mike Gould's?...

Thanks for the update Chris .... Maksim is right ... somebody should set this up for Mike Gould's event ... maybe Keith M will get this to happen. I for one really wanted to see this match happen ... very tough to call who will win ... both have been working out hard for this match up. Hopefully ... we will still see it take place. I am sure Engin was going to be coming to the Gould Classic anyways.

If Engin can't get in the US what happened to him? Would he have to go all the way back to Turkey and then try to come to Canada for Mike's? That would be expensive.

apparently his visa had expired, I'm going to contact Keith to encourage Engin to pull Denis at Mike's. Hopefully with the amount of money he could potentially win at Mike's (in the open class and with Denis) might motivate him to get his visa problems squared away.
