Just a note that may be of interest... I was 328lbs on the Sunday before the Arnolds. I then started loading creatine and eating like crazy for the Arnolds and by Thursday I weighed in at 346.5lbs.

No. It's not.. There are too many variables... a pound of fat yields about 3500 calories of metabolizable energy and a pound of muscle yields about 600 calories... It will also depend on your resting metabolism, activity levels, and how those relate to maintaining a positive balance vs. a caloric defecit... So as generalization at 170lbs, training hard taking in 1700 calories.. you'd be at a caloric deficit at 170lbs, and you'd likely lose muscle tissue to energy... which would mean an even greater loss in bodyweight since the muscle tissue will metabolize much quicker than fat... depending on circumstances... Insulin prevents muscle tissue from being metabolized Then If you're fat or skinny, everything changes. and also because of body composition, hormonal levels, and caloric density... I don't want to go into it any further than that

Insulin prevents muscle tissue from being metabolized That is true. I am insulin dependent and diabetic's metabolizism is different then people without diabetes. I cannot take any creatine because I already have a higher then normal amount of creatinine in my urine. Creatine after years of use, in my opinion, can cause kidney problems, as I have to watch my creatinine levels, it can lead to kidney failure.
