I know what you mean Mat (Lee Saitz)! Thanks Ryan, makes sense, as even 2.5" diameter seems huge now that I think about it. Actually the more I think about it, maybe a fabricated piece 2" in diameter with a lug sticking off of it that you could tie a cable to. I'm thinking it would twist your hand open, and maybe even put torsion into the forearm. It could have a couple of tie points to make it adjustable for different workouts. I just got the real ROLLING THUNDER. I was disappointed as to how short and light the loading pin was and how cheap the handle felt. It works good though. If you just get a chunk of rigid pipe and slip it over a dumbell handle and load up the dumbell really well - it's the same thing. It wants to roll right out against your thumb. Are you going to Provincials in Red Deer? I have a 3" DIA and 2.5" DIA piece that you can have. You could also drill a hole through it and place a threaded hook in it and load a chain with weights on it.

Mat,
I'm planning on coming out to Red Deer. If you could bring the pipes that would be great. Thanks.
