Ryan-Glad to hear things are coming along nicely. You will be back to full strength before you know it.
In regards to what would work if a 90 degree partial isnt available what about just doing your curls standing at 90 degrees and up? As long as your not leaning way back during the curl it seems like it would be pretty close to what a preacher bench is doing. Any opinions on this? Again thanks Christian and Ryan for your responses, Ive learned a ton from you guys.

preachers are ideal, however if not available i prefer lower cable static hold (single arm) with your elbow fixed to your side. This angle will isolate bicept and tendon. A dumbell will gravitate downwards taking some focus off bicept putting it on front delt.

i like that idea chris. but as far as a 45 preacher. you can still use it. you can place your elbow down on it instead of laying your tricep on it. it's not isolating the bicep as much if you rock, but if you keep still and focus it can work. might also help with your static holds with your arm locked, but move the weight up by rocking backwards like pulling your opponent.

So your still getting an angle close to 90 degrees by putting your elbow on the pad and not your whole tricep? Definitely worth trying. . .
