I know this may sound strange but since we're in the gym I thought I would ask the question; What is the best Anti-Perperant on the market? Nothing worse than going to a tourny and setting up with huge wet circles under the arm. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

I don't use anti-persperants, I use deodorant. Sweating is actually good, it gets a part of the toxins out of your body.

If you take a shower before with your shirt on... the whole thing will be wet. Nobody will know you are sweating under the arms.

Antiperspirants are supposed to go deep into your pores and create a "plug". I sweat too much when I work out, for them to be effective anyways. For deodorant, I find the new Mennen Speed Stick (Irish Spring scent) and the Mitchum Gell deodorant (from Safeway), seem to last all day. Aluminium is also a neurotoxin. Maybe not in the small quantities we may slather under our arms, but who knows... Deodorants may be combined with antiperspirants – classified as drugs by the FDA – which attempt to stop or significantly reduce perspiration and thus reduce the moist climate in which bacteria thrive. Aluminum chloride, aluminum chlorohydrate, and aluminum-zirconium compounds, most notably Aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex gly, are the most widely used antiperspirants. Aluminum-based complexes react with the electrolytes in the sweat to form a gel plug in the duct of the sweat gland. The plugs prevent the gland from excreting liquid and are removed over time by the natural sloughing of the skin. The blockage of a large number of sweat glands reduces the amount of sweat produced in the underarms, though this may vary from person to person.

Nope the one tell-tale smell of an old man is Ben-Gay. Me personally I use Speed-stick 24/7 Gametime. works good all day.
