In Greg's case it was both bicepts and lats (in one sweeping motion). But it was his short arm that allowed him to start his drag at the front of the pad and row back 6 inches. Although heavyweights like Ryan and Devon are exceptionally strong their long arms would hinder them in this movement. However I don't know that for sure, I'm just speculating.

Greag's physical makeup allows for this to be effective... like Chris said. His forearm is so short that all he has to do is crank his wrist and you are almost pinned. I could never do this move with any effectiveness.
