Would you consider wrist flexion strength as the most important strength needed for the hook? I know this has been debated before so I would like to hear your thoughts. In my opinion it is but I might be way off base so lets hear it. Thanks in advance

To initiate the hook IMO it is the most important unless you always want to start on your opponents side of the table.
