What advice do you have for guys who have had to cut weight to weigh in and then need to get re-hydrated afterwords? My next tourny I will have to drop about 4-5 pounds and am looking for tips to gain it back and be as strong as possible the next day. Any ideas on supplements, what to eat, drink etc? I usually get a couple of gatorades and drink them along with a pretty normal dinner. Thanks in advance guys. . .

What I like to do is sit there in the weigh-in room with ice cream or a pizza. That doesn't help at all... just pisses people off that have to make weight. HAHA
Ask Wil Sarty... he flipped me off more than once last year at Canadian Nationals.
SERIOUSLY THOUGH... a lot of pullers don't know how to do this properly... one word... PEDIALYTE. If you watch weigh'ins from UFC, etc. you will see the fighters (some who have cut 20lbs or more) drinking it within seconds of making their weight.

Pedialyte is delicious Pickle juice gets the same job done, but isn't nearly as pleasant.

My weigh ins just got moved to the day of the tourney which makes things alittle tougher. Would this change anything? I blanked on pedialyte but will pick some up. I was 211 today with 6 days to go so I should be fine. Thanks again guys.
