Has anyone ever injured there AC join? I have I don't really know how or when, but this bump just appeared on my shoulder.

the bump you see is called a step deformity... when you separate the acromioclavicular joint the acromion process pulls away from the clavicle and drops down. Abduction is usually limited past 90 degrees..
if it's severe you need to get a sling to lift it back up and take the pressure off so it can heal itself, but if it's mild you can get away without any treatment and it will often reduce itself eventually... the step deformity might stay there though if you choose that path... which could lead to postural imbalances and muscular/neural impingement

The doc said it was a class 1, but on the net it says a class 1 you can't see a bump and I got a bump. He also said there was nothing he could do. And on the net it says to get some anti inflamitories and put it in a sling. I'm going to a different doc. It's my right shoulder Steve. I hope it heals quick too so I can get a rematch.
