Mathew. I'm not sure if you have stated before but why are you going without carbs? I'm on a diet now. I want to get down to 250 - 275 pounds and stay there for a while.

All the best to you Mathew. Keep us posted on your results. Thanks, will do. So far, I have noticed a bit of endurance loss (hard to get the last set or two) but not strength. Heartburn is gone - haven't had any since I started. I guess eating meat, cheese and many, many, many green veggies has its' benefit. I would really like a potato, though! ;D

You still need some carbs Mathew, Your body needs carbs to function properly. That's where it gets it's energy from.
Best of luck on your weight loss.
I will be joining you on that after the Moose Pull.

Glutamine (if you aren't taking it) might be a good supplement for you to consider.
I dont know what your thoughts on ephedrine are but that with caffeine might help you with your energy since you are cutting carbs.

I will be joining you on that after the Moose Pull. It will be getting it from fat, for the next while. There are many low Carb diets out there - CKD, Atkins, The Zone. These type of diets are best for guys like me, that have a lot of fat to lose. As I get lighter, I will need to adjust.
