Does only competing and placing in NOVICE, qualify you for Nationals? I thought it was only if you compete and place in the top 2 or 3 in the OPEN (Pro) category? I'm new, so I don't know. Thanks.  |

There is no such thing as "pro" at provincial or national events. Those are considered amateur (much like the Olympics) and novice is a step below.
Everyone who attends their provincials is eligible to compete at Nationals regardless of placing.
