Good matches, but I think all slips need to go to straps, and no more foul in losing position losses...there were two robberies IMO there: Ryan Espey Right Handed, Ryan Espey Left Handed; let's see what happens in the strap! I feel like Will Sarty was robbed on too high of a pin call, but ref has a better view than the video. Geesh, JP was close to a victory against AD - nice work JP! I'm not sure what you were watching Jeff. Right handed Ryan was pinned, Left handed you can't see the pin and or slip out. As for Will, it's pretty plain that his wrist went below the pin line. |

Hi Rick,
I suppose it can't be determined very clearly from the video because of the angle, just to me looked like RH Earl peeled open Ryan's hand as he himself let go. If it was below the pin line then it wasn't a robbery; I thought they called pin due to slip in losing position. If this call WAS made, I'd like to have seen this go to straps.
Maybe in person you could clearly see Will's wrist below the pin line, but he looked pretty locked in there in not too bad of a spot I thought from the video; he was not dominated by any means.
