Ashley and I are considering attending. Are there no women's classes at the NAL event? Who is Hosting the NAL event, is that Travis or Bill? Does the entry fee have to be in early or just at the door? What women's classes are you proposing and did you have any women last year? Sorry for all the questions. Joey

I'll have to check with Mark Harrison on that, as he's the lead organizer for this tournament. I'm pretty sure we'll have women's class(es) at this event, see below. I believe it's Travis Bagent. I'll check with Mark.
w/o input from Mark: Last year we had Lori Pow vs Laura Webb in a supermatch. I can't remember for the tournament portion though. What size of person is Ashley? There are a few worthy female pullers in Alberta, but I will have to confirm them individually for a competition... thanks for bringing this up Joey.

Will you be weighing 176 lbs? That was my original plan, but I'm still 191 or so. And if I'm 198...good luck, 'cause I will crush you into oblivion Darrell!

Joey Hey Joey, AFAIK there aren't money classes for women in the NAL, unless there is enough entries/money into it to make it actually lucrative enough to be a reality. I can ask Travis, but I don't believe so. The original idea was drummed up from a few people, but head manned by Travis. Every qualifying event has its own host who is putting on the tournament. The entry fees are paid at the tournament when you arrive, just like every other tournament. Generally speaking, pre-paid fees don't work. Paying when you arrive makes the ease of paying out the first place winner easier as well. In terms of women's classes, it's really dependent on the number of pullers that show up. Which, unfortunately, isn't usually all that high in the women's weight classes. I am searching for two women for a supermatch for the tournament, though. We have a lot of foot traffic through the mall during the tournament and I'd love to showcase women's classes to the public.

Mayhem in the Mall Left Handed Heavyweight Supermatch
John Brzenk (UT) vs Ryan Espey (MB)
We'll see if the trim 2 x World Champion, reigning Mayhem in the Mall Heavyweight Supermatch Champ can rise to the challenge of taking on the greatest of all time.
John will be pulling in the 198+ Right handed Open tournament. For all of you that may not have another chance to pull him while he's still a force, this is your chance. You should all be trained up from Nationals, let's see what you got.
