YOU CANNOT STRIKE WITH THE POINT OF THE ELBOW IN A DOWNWARD MOTION... making all those elbows that made Lutter tap either from the elbows themself, or the wlbows allowing him to tighten up that triangle... ILLEGAL.

ILLEGAL. If it was Illegal then they must have called it right? What did Silva say when they DQ'd him?

No... they did not call it. That is the problem. Then the commentators scrambled to try and cover it up.
There was also some controversy in another fight where Huerta landed a knee that lead to the stoppage. The knee happened when his opponent was basically down and it looked like it was to the head... which is illegal also.

Controversial... but Lutter looked like crap after trying to cut all that weight. This was his shot and he blew it.

I have a hard time feeling anything for some bum who couldn't make weight in potentially the biggest fight of his life. What a loser. He was quoted as saying that he was "not motivated enough to lose the weight". What a pathetic excuse for a competitor.
Who knows how much potential revenue that he lost because he was too fat and lazy. I hope he doesn't get another fight other than heavyweight because promoters dont trust his lazy ass to prepare properly.
Not to mention his disrespect for A. Silva and the UFC. Anderson's win does not count as a title defence BUT if he lost he would be considered a "paper champion". Anderson had everything to lose by taking Travis' fat ass into the ring with him. In a world of statistics and Win / Loss columns title defences are a big deal when figuring rankings and popular opinion (which is huge in this sport)
I'm glad he looked weak and fat in his (hopefully) last fight in the UFC.
