Sweat it out... then drink Pedialyte after you make weight. There is no other way.

Yup... it's only 5lbs too. not too hard at all.
immediately cut out sodium, sugar, dairy... start shedding water now with dietary change... vitamin B6 is a diuretic.. or you could just get an actual diuretic... see where you're at friday... then hit a sauna, hopefully iits only a few pounds... weigh in sat morning and pound the pedialyte

I tried "shredded" last year to make weight and worked really good. Dropped 20 pounds in a week. Its a Diuretic though so now with the drug testing at the World level it will test positive so be careful if you go this route. The supplement says only take for 2 days at a time so 7 days out i took it for 2 days...took 3 days off and took for an additional 2 days prior to weigh ins. Still had to sweat some off in the shower but in the end made weight.
Kehler. Thats very interesting about Vitamin B6. How effective is this and would it show in a WADA test where it acts as a diuretic

Is gatorade a suitable alternative to pedeolyte? If not what is the difference between the 2?

Use pedialyte dude... it is meant for re-hydration.

I doubt you would feel a dramatic strength decrease with losing 5 pounds austin.

B6 just acts as a diuretic, a mild one. the RDA for B6 is something like 2 or 3mg.... but there have actually been studies that show taking an excessive amount of B6 (40mg + ) over a prolonged period of time can raise natural GH levels by up to 40%.
Granted a that level it can also cause neural paralysis... which only lasts the duration of supplementation. B6 is actually used to treat carpal tunnel in some cases... hense the neural involvement.
as far as the diuretic part goes, it helps with water retention... but i wouldn't count on it to shed a large amount of water... few lbs... would help... and would NOT test positive on any test.
