This question is for Ryan or anyone else that uses the finger blaster. Where are you guys putting it into the routine? Do you do it after other heavy grip work and use the finger blaster for high reps to finish the workout? Im thinking about doing them after stuff like plate pinches, wrist curls, thick bar deads etc. I usually do my hand before the wrist when using grippers but was wondering what you guys have found to work best. Thanks in advance guys,
Austin

I was doing them really heavy right at the start of my grip / wrist / forearm routine. In the future I think I will lighten it up and put it at the end of the routine and do them slowly. I am not sure one is much better than the other as far as the start or the end... so long as you exhaust the muscles involved.

I've been using my finger blaster at the beginning of my lower arm workout... before wrist curls, levering etc etc.... my reasoning is that my hand is usually the first thing to get tired, so i hit the fingers directly before the wrist then the fingers have to work harder to keep up... I wouldn't do this everytime though or the wrist would start suffering

Thanks guys I appreciate it. What rep range do you prefer? I seem to fall around 10-20 reps which is odd because I dont do anything over triples with the grippers usually.

Around the 20-30 rep range... but performed slowly.

Thanks guys appreicate it. Ill try some higher reps and see how it feels. I tend to think of hand strength only in terms of catching a top roll but we also need endurance during the set up.
Ryan/Brian-how often do you guys hit the finger blaster?
On a side note, Ive been doing more thick bar/supporting work on Ryans recomendation and I think its helping. Seems to be more carryover then crush training. . .

I go lighter... and will do 30-40 reps... which may not be ideal for everyone....
but with the amount of stress I'm getting on my hands from being an MT, going too heavy just doesnt treat me well.
right now i'm using it 2x per week

What are finger blasters? Are they like captain crunches or what ever?
